Anthem is passionate about putting young people at the heart of our work as we take our next steps. In 2021 Anthem created a Youth Forum project, bringing together a group of 16 to 24 years old’s who are involved with music across genres in Wales to help them build a pathway to music industry and support Anthem’s work. Further Youth Forum cohorts came together in 2022 and 2023, and this project has now become Anthem FFWD>>.
‘Being part of the Youth Forum is a fun, informal way to connect with other young musicians or people working in the music industry’
‘The Youth Forum was a great opportunity to be heard, to really talk about what matters about music and why it is important’
‘Through the Youth Forum we got involved with other opportunities, such as creating short films, blogs and organising an online music event. It was really fun’
